Collin, my initial thought is that you really can't figure out what Rob Bell really thinks unless you read the book. Have you read it? I'd love to see what Scripture he uses to support the position that people can be saved even after death. From what I know, that's not in Scripture. It is given man once to die, then the judgment. Question is, who are we to judge? I think it's easy to say that a radical Muslim who dies in jihad cursing the name of Christ has chosen to forgo heaven by how he treated Jesus here on earth. But I think that he will be convinced that God loves him after he dies and faces that judgment. I guess the question Rob Bell might be asking is, is it then too late for God's love to save him? The big question for me would be, like Martin Bashir asked, is how you view Jesus here irrelevant to your eternal destiny? Bell says no, but that doesn't seem to jibe with what he's saying about love winning. Have to read the book to see what he's really saying.

Great video collin. Gives a great view of the modernization of Christianity and the flaws with it. In the end, Christ saved all who FOLLOW him from death and that should be the focus of our faith, not arguments that only split the church. thx

Yes, I've been reading reviews of those who HAVE READ the book...I don't know when and frankly, if I'll do more than get the nuts and bolts (sorry Rob)...But, this is an excellent interview and love Martin Bashir's line with Rob Bell seeking to get him to pin things down...so much more I could say, but will refrain...basically, I'm praying that nothing about this book prospers anywhere that doesn't promote the Cause of Christ--I'm asking the Spirit to intercede and look into Rob's heart and where He is not being true to Christ and His Gospel to stop him in his tracks and sober him...and well, I need to pray this like crazy for me too:-)
